Hi! My name is Laura Jones. This is “Our Wish”. 

I was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in August of 2017 when I was 9 years old. I was very sick and immediately hospitalized. I couldn’t believe what I was going through and I asked God, “why me”. It was very hard. But, I  had a lot of prayers and support from family and friends. I also got gifts such as toys and crafts from friends and strangers. Every so often I got a gift from a stranger, someone I didn’t know. It’s hard to explain how it made me feel. But, I felt so many people praying for me more than I ever thought. It made me feel loved. 

Getting a toy or craft helped me get through my suffering. Sometimes I was so sick that some gifts gave me something to hold on to. What I want to do with “Our Wish” is to make a way for kids to get toys when they are in the hospital and to help other Kids with a toy drive who want to do the same. 

Please help me to show other kids how much they are loved.
